Biolog offers two manual MicroLog Systems for laboratories with low testing volumes or limited budgets, MicroLog 2 and MicroLog 1. Manual systems deliver the same state-of-the-art reference-level capability as the fully automated MicroStation. This is accomplished by replacing the automated reading capability with visual reading and manual reaction entry. Visual reading of gram negative and gram positive MicroPlates is easy because of our unique one color reaction chromophore.

The MicroLog 2 System is identical to the MicroStation System except that it does not include the MicroStation Reader and pipetter. Consumables and databases are purchased separately.

The MicroLog 1 System is identical to the MicroLog 2 System except that the system software does not have the user database building features or the advanced identification analysis features. Consumables and databases are purchased separately.
